Privacy & safety
This site is built to be private and safe to use. We collect as little as possible, and never track what you read.
What we collect
- To read this site: nothing. You don't need an account, and we don't ask who you are.
- If you email us or share your story, we receive only what you choose to send us.
- Anonymous visitor counts (only if switched on): if site analytics is enabled, it counts page visits with your IP address anonymised. It never records your name, what pages you read, or anything you type. It is off until the team turns it on.
What we never do
- We never use advertising or social-media tracking cookies.
- We never record the content of what you read or any self-check answers (those stay on your device only).
- We never put your personal information in the web address (URL).
Staying safe on a shared device
If someone might check your device, use the Quick exit button (top of every page, or press Esc three times), browse in a private/incognito window, and clear your history afterwards.
